Privacy notice

How we collect, use and protect personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

Mutshabi Education and Skills Development CC, registration number 2004/073805/23, of Stand 46, Section F, Giyani 0826, Limpopo, is the responsible party for the personal information described here.

For any question about this notice or about your information, contact Noza Mutshabi on 082 884 5452 or at mutshabi@mweb.co.za.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry through the form on this website, we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you choose to give us, along with the subject you select.

You do not have to use the form. You can call or send a WhatsApp message instead, in which case we hold only what your phone provider shows us and whatever you tell us.

We do not ask for identity numbers, banking details or any other sensitive information through this website, and you should not send them to us through the form.

Why we collect it

Only to read your enquiry, reply to it, and carry out any work you go on to ask us for. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your agreement.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are sent from this website to our own email address using Resend, an email delivery service. The website itself is hosted by Vercel. Both process the information on our behalf, in order to deliver your message and serve the page. We do not use a third-party form service, and your enquiry is not stored anywhere other than in our email.

The contact page embeds a Google map. If you view that page, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies, under its own privacy terms. If you would rather it did not, avoid the contact page and reach us by phone.

We use privacy-friendly analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your request and to keep an ordinary business record of work done. When it is no longer needed for either, we delete it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong or out of date
  • delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
  • stop using your information for a particular purpose

Contact us using the details above and we will deal with your request. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, whose contact details are published at inforegulator.org.za.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection. We take reasonable steps to keep enquiry information safe, though no website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to this notice

If we change how the website handles personal information, we will update this page.
